Your Guide to the Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase

The Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase is a harmony of the top 140 songwriters who advanced past their Qualifying Rounds. Sumner County is one of seven locations in Tennessee chosen to host a Songwriters Showcase where twenty of the best songwriters in Tennessee will compete at the Temple Theater in Portland, TN, to try and advance to the Tennessee Songwriters Week Finals at the Bluebird Cafe In Nashville. This music-filled weekend can be overwhelming with all the fun activities that can be found in Sumner County. Friday

SHopping on Main Street

After a full meal at Milo’s, it is time to take to the streets of Portland’s Main Street and indulge in a shopper’s haven. From southern belle classics to casual clothing, you will find your next southern charm while hitting the streets and shopping on Portland’s Main Street. 

Don’t drop your bags off just yet! Take your travels to Sumner Crest Winery on the edge of Portland and sip a loved Southern creation. After a delicious dinner it is time to head back to Portland’s Main Street where the perfect view of the Temple Theater will lead you to the Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase. After a fun day exploring the southern treasure of Portland and all it has to offer, then singing along to the talented songwriters at the Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase, it’s time to head back to the hotel and rest up for another big day in Sumner County.
