About Woodland Gallery Pottery Classes
Original and custom pottery is made the old-fashioned way at Woodland Gallery starting with a lump of clay and turning it on a potter’s wheel into its own unique shape. Pottery classes are taught in Woodland Gallery's commercial pottery studio and they offer one-time-try-it-class on the potter's wheel, beginning with a demonstration of how the potter's wheels work. The instructor will show you how to control the speeds and the different hand positions to create a vase or a bowl. After the demonstration, class attendees will receive clay and have the opportunity to create their own pot on the wheel.
