Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park

Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park is a perfect place to enjoy both history and nature! View the outline of the Revolutionary War-era Bledsoe’s Fort that was recovered through archaeological digs. The park also includes an authentic Irish dwelling called Rogan’s Cottage and a brief history on Rogan’s Irish and Tennessee life, a historic walking trail that meanders along a frontier cemetery and remnants of an old springhouse,  and two 1700-era cabins!

Tour Availability: The grounds of Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park are open from dawn to dusk year-round. Buildings are opened for special events only.
