Candlelight Cemetery Tour

Hear the historic stories of past Sumner County residents when actors in period clothing portray the deceased along illuminated pathways of the Historic Gallatin City Cemetery! Many of Sumner County’s most fascinating characters ended up in the cemetery, which is home to old-fashioned tombstones and towering memorials dating back to the first known burial in 1818. Come hear the life stories from those who lay to rest while following the candle-lit path through the cemetery. Tours begin at 4:00 pm and a new tour starts about every five minutes through 8pm.
