Last year Downtown Gallatin launched this event to bring people there to shop their retail business and view the display of skeletons that were displayed in their windows.  The event exploded with over 30 skeletons dressed in their finest and on display in the windows.

The figures get changed out weekly and can often be seen playing the drums in our music store, riding a bike in the coffee shop or mowing the grass outside our pawn shop.

A fun event that was featured on WSMV Channel 4 during it's inaugural year!

Sumner County, Tennessee is a playground for the paranormal, from ghosts and things that go bump in the night to flying cryptids and creepy caves with hidden secrets...all tied to our illustrious and diverse history.

THEY ARE NOT A SPOOK HOUSE OR GHOST HUNT -- although you might see or experience 'something' on the tour.  Many have.

Family friendly, but best enjoyed by ages 8 and up, they guarantee an informative and 'spirited' tour.

Many of their patrons return again and again....there's always a new story to tell, and this year we are celebrating their soon to be released nationally published book, Historic Haunted Sumner County.

Get on their email/text list for Dead of Winter pub/restaurant crawls to be held select dates in January-March 2022, as well as lectures on history, haunts and the mysterious in Tennessee...including True Crime stories.

Save the dates - November 6th and 7th - and plan to visit beautiful Sumner County for the 2021 Studio Tour - just 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville.  This is a FREE event.  You may start at any studio location and each studio will have brochures with maps available.

This year they have seven studios and 25 talented artists and artisans participating.  Experienced buyers will agree that you can benefit from direct-to-you pricing, so bring your wallet!  This is just in time for holiday shopping and you will find many unique, one-of-a-kind gift ideas.

Those who visit all seven studios and have their entry form signed (entry form available online or on tour brochure), can enter for a chance to win fabulous door prizes.  This year's prizes include baskets of donated art from our participants.

Come enjoy this great Gallatin Tradition with your entire family!  it is a "not to be missed" event! The parade kicks off at 12:00 pm and will end with Santa Claus kicking off the holiday season!

Step Off Time: Noon Rain or Shine
Registration is required to participate in the parade. The deadline to participate is November 20th, 2021.
Line-up Location:  Steam Plant Road -  Participants must enter from Airport Road!

WHY WE RUN:
The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component that exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

ABOUT THE RACE:
Join us for the seventeenth running of the Gallatin Shamrock Run. This is a fun run through Historic Downtown Gallatin, Tennessee. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.  The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have a little over 90 minutes to complete the race.  Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is available on ACTIVE.com

DETAILS & SCHEDULE ABOUT THE RACE:
Deadline for Registration* to be guaranteed a race shirt is February 10, 2022.
Deadline to participate prior to race day** - Thursday, March 1, 2022.
**Although registration will be available the morning of the race at 6:30 am, pre-registration prior to race day is highly recommended.

Packet Pick Up will be Friday, March 11, 2022, from 10:00am to 5:30pm at the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce, 118 W Main St in Gallatin, TN and at 6:30am at registration.

New Registration and Additional Packet Pick-Up: 6:30am
Pre-registration, prior to the race is highly recommended.
Roads Close in and around the START SITE at 6:45am
10K starts at 7:15am
5K starts at 7:30am
All participants must complete the race by 9:00am.
The roads will open back up at 9:00am/9:15am. Anyone who has not completed the race will be asked to move to the sidewalk to complete their race.
Awards Ceremony begins at 8:45am. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit.

*Participants must register by February 10, 2022, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
The first 500 participants to cross the finish line will receive a commemorative race medal!

We highly recommend participants read the Participation Guide in its entirety. (The updated participation guide will be available by February 1, 2022.)

Parking Locations: Sumner County Public Library (enter from Smith Street) or park across from General Sessions Court on S Water Avenue (Maps will be available mid-February)
ABOUT THE GALLATIN CHAMBER FOUNDATION:
Annually, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation funds innovative education programs in Gallatin K-12 schools through the Innovation and Enhancement Awards. Since 2014, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation has presented over $50,000 to Gallatin schools. In 2020, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation expanded its awards to include scholarships for graduating seniors, to honor the late Jim Hawkins, a champion for education and the Gallatin area. The James B. Hawkins Good Neighbor Scholarship is available to seniors at Gallatin High School and Station Camp High School who exemplify the traits of a good citizen.

Save the dates - November 6th and 7th - and plan to visit beautiful Sumner County for the 2021 Studio Tour - just 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville.  This is a FREE event.  You may start at any studio location and each studio will have brochures with maps available.

This year they have seven studios and 25 talented artists and artisans participating.  Experienced buyers will agree that you can benefit from direct-to-you pricing, so bring your wallet!  This is just in time for holiday shopping and you will find many unique, one-of-a-kind gift ideas.

WHY WE RUN:
The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component that exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

ABOUT THE RACE:
Join us for the seventeenth running of the Gallatin Shamrock Run. This is a fun run through Historic Downtown Gallatin, Tennessee. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.  The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have a little over 90 minutes to complete the race.  Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is available on ACTIVE.com

DETAILS & SCHEDULE ABOUT THE RACE:
Deadline for Registration* to be guaranteed a race shirt is February 10, 2022.
Deadline to participate prior to race day** - Thursday, March 1, 2022.
**Although registration will be available the morning of the race at 6:30 am, pre-registration prior to race day is highly recommended.

Packet Pick Up will be Friday, March 11, 2022, from 10:00am to 5:30pm at the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce, 118 W Main St in Gallatin, TN and at 6:30am at registration.

New Registration and Additional Packet Pick-Up: 6:30am
Pre-registration, prior to the race is highly recommended.
Roads Close in and around the START SITE at 6:45am
10K starts at 7:15am
5K starts at 7:30am
All participants must complete the race by 9:00am.
The roads will open back up at 9:00am/9:15am. Anyone who has not completed the race will be asked to move to the sidewalk to complete their race.
Awards Ceremony begins at 8:45am. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit.

*Participants must register by February 10, 2022, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
The first 500 participants to cross the finish line will receive a commemorative race medal!

We highly recommend participants read the Participation Guide in its entirety. (The updated participation guide will be available by February 1, 2022.)

Parking Locations: Sumner County Public Library (enter from Smith Street) or park across from General Sessions Court on S Water Avenue (Maps will be available mid-February)
ABOUT THE GALLATIN CHAMBER FOUNDATION:
Annually, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation funds innovative education programs in Gallatin K-12 schools through the Innovation and Enhancement Awards. Since 2014, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation has presented over $50,000 to Gallatin schools. In 2020, the Gallatin Chamber Foundation expanded its awards to include scholarships for graduating seniors, to honor the late Jim Hawkins, a champion for education and the Gallatin area. The James B. Hawkins Good Neighbor Scholarship is available to seniors at Gallatin High School and Station Camp High School who exemplify the traits of a good citizen.
