Whether it’s manifestations, murder, mayhem or a mischievous mannequin, guests can expect to be eerily entertained on the fun and folklore-filled ninety-minute walking tour.

In addition to telling spooky stories around the square, the Ghosts of Gallatin Haunted Tour will be donating a portion of ticket sales and blocks of tickets to local non-profit, Historic Downtown Gallatin this spring.

This is not a spook house or ghost hunt -- although you might see or experience something on the tour. Many have.

Family-friendly, but best enjoyed by ages 8 and up, they guarantee an informative and 'spirited' tour.

Many previous patrons return again and again! There's always a new story to tell, and this year they are celebrating their soon to be released nationally published book, Historic Haunted Sumner County.

Be sure to join their email/text list for Dead of Winter Pub/Restaurant crawls as well as lectures on history, haunts and the mysterious in Tennessee, including True Crime stories.

The Gallatin Ghost Walk is one of the first history/mystery ghost walks in the south.

Join in on an evening of ghost stories and spooky tales!

New stories this year.

Guests will be guided by lantern along a trail from the historic tobacco barn to Cragfont, looming creepily in the distance. Along the way, you will encounter a number of characters from Cragfont's spirited past. Each will have a spine-tingling story to tell! Before and after the tour calm your fears with apple cider by the fire and the soothingly spooky sounds of historic murder ballads performed by the Traveling Caudells.

This event focuses on spooky stories from the past. Content, such as slavery, murder, and death may be too mature for children under the age of nine years old. This event will include only LIMITED access to the historic house and will mostly be outdoors. Guests will be walking approximately 1/2 mile and may need to negotiate stairs in a darkened environment. This event will NOT include trick or treating or jump scares.

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Due to limited tour size, advance ticket purchase is strongly advised. Tickets will be sold at the door, but will only be available on a first-come, first- serve basis.

The event is free is fun for all ages. The event joins several of the Goodlettsville Farmer's Market vendors with additional local artisans and sponsor vendors.  A food vendor area is provided along with a children's area of free activities. The Goodlettsville Visitor's Center and Gift Shop is open during the duration of the event.

Start and end your tour at the Visitor's Center with live music, refreshments, and unique shopping in the gift shop.

Sumner Fest in Hendersonville, also known as The City by the Lake as it borders picturesque Old Hickory Lake, is Sumner County's premier hot air balloon festival! Sanders Ferry Park, also nestled on the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake, is the idyllic backdrop for a celebration filled with food, fun, and non-stop entertainment as hot air balloons color the sky and provide breath-taking aerial views of the surroundings. In just its second year, Sumner Fest has established itself as a must-do event in Sumner County. Bring lawn chairs/blankets to watch the hot air balloons take off and enjoy their beautiful glow! There will also be tethered hot air balloon rides available.

The entertainment stage will echo sounds across the lake and the lively Kid Zone will keep little ones joy-filled until the sun goes down. And with dozens of merchant vendors showcasing their goods and food vendors galore tempting your taste buds, everyone will love a night out at Sumner Fest!

Join Historic Castalian Springs for a tour of Hawthorn Hill, one Saturday a month from April through September. The circa 1805 brick Federal home is preserved as close to its original state as possible and is rarely open for tours. Original stenciling, paint, and plaster make you feel as though you've entered a time capsule of 19th century Middle Tennessee history.

Join in on an evening of ghost stories and spooky tales!

New stories this year.

Guests will be guided by lantern along a trail from the historic tobacco barn to Cragfont, looming creepily in the distance. Along the way, you will encounter a number of characters from Cragfont's spirited past. Each will have a spine-tingling story to tell! Before and after the tour calm your fears with apple cider by the fire and the soothingly spooky sounds of historic murder ballads performed by the Traveling Caudells.

This event focuses on spooky stories from the past. Content, such as slavery, murder, and death may be too mature for children under the age of nine years old. This event will include only LIMITED access to the historic house and will mostly be outdoors. Guests will be walking approximately 1/2 mile and may need to negotiate stairs in a darkened environment. This event will NOT include trick or treating or jump scares.

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Due to limited tour size, advance ticket purchase is strongly advised. Tickets will be sold at the door, but will only be available on a first-come, first- serve basis.

Health & Safety Precautions:

  • Limited group size
  • Mostly outdoor event
  • Tour stops are well spaced
  • Reservations encouraged

Fall Family Block Party 2022 Presented by Ryan Homes

There will be Farmers Market vendors, craft vendors, stilt walker, food trucks, a free pumpkin patch sponsored by the White House Inn Museum, a costume contest sponsored by Crossroads Medical Group, the showing of a the movie Ernest Scared Stupid sponsored by Hitchhiker Toys and more!  Farmers Market and Vendor Booths open 3:30 to 7 pm. The GOODFest Markets are held each spring and fall and known as the GOODFest and Spring Market in late April or early May and the GOODFest and Fall Market in October or early November.  The event is held one Saturday each spring and fall between the hours of 11am - 3pm.

The event is free is fun for all ages. The event joins several of the Goodlettsville Farmer's Market vendors with additional local artisans and sponsor vendors.  A food vendor area is provided along with a children's area of free activities. The Goodlettsville Visitor's Center and Gift Shop is open during the duration of the event.

Visitors of all ages are invited to step back in time and take a night tour through the grounds of the Bowen Plantation Home and Historic Mansker's Station. Historical interpreters dressed in 1700's style attire will guide you by lantern light through the historic sites where you will listen to stories and tales of days gone by. Start and end your tour at the Visitor's Center with live music, refreshments, and unique shopping in the gift shop.

Reservations are required and begin at 6pm every 15 minutes with the last group beginning at 8pm.  Each group consists of 25-26 guests.  This is a family friendly event.

Sumner Fest in Hendersonville, also known as The City by the Lake as it borders picturesque Old Hickory Lake, is Sumner County's premier hot air balloon festival! Sanders Ferry Park, also nestled on the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake, is the idyllic backdrop for a celebration filled with food, fun, and non-stop entertainment as hot air balloons color the sky and provide breath-taking aerial views of the surroundings. In just its second year, Sumner Fest has established itself as a must-do event in Sumner County. Bring lawn chairs/blankets to watch the hot air balloons take off and enjoy their beautiful glow! There will also be tethered hot air balloon rides available.

The entertainment stage will echo sounds across the lake and the lively Kid Zone will keep little ones joy-filled until the sun goes down. And with dozens of merchant vendors showcasing their goods and food vendors galore tempting your taste buds, everyone will love a night out at Sumner Fest!
