Music is in the roots of Sumner County – past and present locals have significantly influenced old-time, bluegrass and country music. In celebration of this rich music history, bring out the whole family to the backyard of the Douglass-Clark House for the Backyard Bluegrass Bash! It’s an afternoon filled with amazing live music, delicious food, vendor shopping, dancing, and some of the best bluegrass music performed by our talented locals including the famed banjo player known as the “Sultan of Goodlettsville,” Leroy Troy! Other musical talent includes Uncle Shuffelo and His Haint Hollow Hootenanny, The Jake Leg Stompers, and Blind Tigers!

Free tours of the Douglass-Clark House will be offered during the festival and make plans to walk along the picturesque Station Camp Greenway before or after the Backyard Bluegrass Bash! Entry to this event is free of charge, and activities last from 11am-4pm. Seating will be on the Douglass-Clark House lawn; please bring chairs and blankets to sit on. Parking will be available next door at the Douglass Chapel and Ocana Community Center. A golf cart transport pickup and drop off is available to guests after they park.
